If you like this, please ‘like’ and share!

This video has been created in response to a question from YouTube subscriber chris76xx asking about response to hypnotic suggestion in the elicitation hypnotic phenomena. Chris asks:

“Why do some people react to suggestions like forgetting name and numbers others don’t even when in trance ? What reason are there for someone not accepting suggestions ? Thanks!”

Whilst there are a number of variable to this, this video focuses on buy-in, misconceptions about hypnosis, coaching appropriate engagement and the personal cognitive style and strengths of the subject.

Very informative and interesting reasons you discussed here. Do you also work on hypnotizing someone instantly? Is is really possible or do you need to follow the traditional method.

      Hi Helen

People are already hypnotised, so it is less about hypnotising them (instantly or otherwise) than steering the ‘trance’ they are already in. Traditional methods most definitely not necessary! 🙂

      All the very best,

      James
