Getting Really Good with Hypnosis & NLP: A Conversation with James Tripp & James Tsakalos

Hi All!

Over the last few months I have had a lot of people contact me and asking questions about what it takes to get really good with Hypnosis and NLP, which got me thinking about putting together a podcast on the subject. Thinking about it, that is, rather than actually getting around to it! 😉

Well, by the course of events, about a week back I found myself discussing this very topic in a Skype chat with the phenomenal Melbourne based NLPer and ‘Spiral Somaticist’ James Tsakalos, during which we found each other to have quite a bit to say on the subject (being a pair of highly opinionated old *******!). It was a great conversation, and one we thought was definitely worth having again (and then some!) and sharing with the world at large. (Well, at least that part of it interested in developing high level skills in Hypnosis and/or NLP.)

For those of you who don’t yet know James, he is a rare gem of the NLP world and much sought after trainer (NLP and Spiral Somatics) with a reputation for producing highly skilled students. A such, he knows a lot about what it really takes to get good with the skills and start making stuff happen with them.

So, what does it take to get really good with Hypnosis and NLP?

Is it about talent? Hard work? Smart work? Is there a formula? Can anyone do it?

These are the kind of questions we (The James T’s :-)) will be answering for you in this live conversation! And we would very much like it if you would join us.

If you want to be part of this you can either join the conversation by Skype or good old fashioned telephone, or if you prefer, simply listen in via the webcast below.

Also, if you have any questions relating to the subject that you would like to get answered, please do submit them to us via the Q&A submission box below (we will answer as many questions as we can, starting with the most popular).

O.K. Enough chat – this is going to be a great conversation, so I look forward to having you there as part of it all!

All the very best

James

I too really enjoyed the conversation, I just have one thing I disagreed with regarding what James Tsakalos said about nlp being a way to become better at therapy but it not being a therapy in itself, now I may have mis interpreted what he said and if did I apologise, and though I realise nlp is a of modelling people, the people they particually modelled where therapists in doing so they created there own way of doing therapy and rather quickly in some cases. So what I guess im saying is I think you can go and learn nlp from scratch and become a nlper/ therapist without having to have already been a therapist. But I really like both of your view points on all the other subjects. Thanks
