Milton H Erickson and The Tetralemma!

If you like this, please ‘like’ and share!

One of the things that has always personally fascinated me about Milton H. Erickson is his apparent deep wisdom. People study his techniques, but what they often miss is the profound understandings of human beings from which they emerged.

I seriously doubt that Erickson knew of The Tetralemma, but it is interesting how he clearly understood and utilised one of the principle aspects of this figure of ancient indian logic.

This video is a little shorter than usual, but shares something of how Erickson made use of drawing opposites together into the same field of awareness.

Hi James, could you write as a comment those two guys that you mention near 0:32 sec of video? As I would like to dig more into this, but I have no idea of proper spelling. 🙂 Thanks! Alex

Just one guy Alex – Patanjali. Author of The Yoga Sutras. I just gave to pronunciations because I have heard both.

      Best,
