Look back to the origins of hypnosis and you will find Franz Anton Mesmer’s ‘Animal Magnetism’ (AKA ‘Mesmerism’) – an art that was all about the channeling and manipulation of mysterious ‘energies’.
Mesmer was so successful in his work that a scientific committee was put together to evaluate his work. There conclusion was that there was no ‘animal magnetism and it was all ‘just suggestion’.
In this video I am talking about the value for Hypnotists and NLP Practitioners in reconnecting with a more ‘energy’ based reality tunnel when doing hypnosis.

June 22, 2015As a hypnotherapist practising in Scotland, I find myself amazed by the continued reliance and dependence upon “western” hypnotic techniques that are based around scripts or, at best, hypnoanalysis.
There is a huge amount of material available to study in relation to “Eastern” hypnosis, particulary that of the Indian schools where the spiritual is combined within the practice. Yes, it is much harder to perfect and takes a much longer commitment, but the results are astounding.
What you’re discussing in the video / blog is excellent … the first step on a path to wider knowledge.
