When people learn hypnosis they often place a lot focus on scripts and hypnotic language, but there are other (and perhaps more subtle) skills that a good, well-rounded hypnotist needs to develop.
One such skill is quality of touch. This video looks at the use of touch in setting up arm catalepsy and also looks at the use of ‘ambiguous touch’ in the classic Handshake Interrupt pattern associated with the legendary Milton H Erickson.

November 9, 2012Dear james,
You are my Guru and whatever I learned from you I use it fot benifit of people without charging them anything. there are people who go in trance very easily and there are one whom it is difficult to send in trance. what to do such kind of people? Is it due to lack of my skill? or different procedure has to be followed? UI generaly use handshake pattern brake method without shaking hands. many time handshake method didnt work for me. please suggest right procedure.

November 11, 2012Hi Sachin
There are a lot of variables on this. Some people are much easier to hypnotise than others, simply due to their cognitive style in terms of ‘how they do life’. For those who are less conducive to hypnosis, skill and understanding can start to tip the scale… but there isn’t a hypnotist alive who can hypnotise 100% of people 100% of the time to get any phenomena they like.
My view on this is: Hypnosis is not 100%, but everyone can experience something. Sometimes it is just a question of finding what that person can experience, leading them there and then appropriately framing that experience in terms of significance. (I talk about much of this stuff on The No-Fail Protocol)
Hope that helps some!
James

December 9, 2012James how you do the pattern interrupt is amazing to say the least. I have your mastery programme and no fail protocol, is this semint available in any other programme or will be available in the near future?
